Climb into the passenger seat beside Judy Pearson as this grandmother sets out in a very small motor home on a ten-month solo journey around the perimeter of the 48 contiguous United States. Ms. Pearson is on sabbatical from her job of teaching first graders in Fort Collins, Colorado. She hasn't entirely left teaching behind, as she maintains a website of information about her travels. Enter the "e-classroom" and learn history and geography lessons as you share in the joys and travails of her experiences. It is the school year 2000-2001, and you will stand on top of the World Trade Center, walk the streets of New Orleans, and follow the trail of Lewis and Clark from the Pacific Ocean to the rolling prairies of northern Montana. Share in the adventure. Come along and enjoy the ride!
