"From the Earth to the moon" This book is a computerized republication of the book of the same name available on Project Gutenberg (www.gutenberg.org) at no cost. The translation is the 1873 one done by Rev. Lewis Page Mercier. The translation omits about 20% of the original book. See Wikipedia for a critical review of the book and Lewis Mercier. The book contains underscored _words_ which are intended to be italic but are not. The translation of Walter Miller is annotated and a complete translation, and is recommended for serious readers.
