"Mysterious Island" This book is a reprint of the 1876 translation by W.H.G. Kingston. The translator chnges the names of the characters and makes other unacceptable alterations in the text. In particular the death of Captain Nemo in Volume III is completely altered. For a similar price the translation of Sidney Kravitz is available, and much to be recommended.
