Short Story: Javier, a former photojournalist turned free lance photographer photographs a young American couple - Dan and Mara - on the streets of Barcelona. He is so taken with Mara that he invents an excuse to approach them, offering to send them a copy of this wonderful photo. After receiving the photo, Mara contacts him with the idea of doing a racy photo shoot of herself as a gift for Dan. Something doesn’t feel right but Javier is so taken with his subject that he would do anything to get her in front of the camera - and learns that people are not always who they appear to be.

Another great addition to Julian Gallo's short stories collection. I always look forward to new stories from this author and download immediately when they are placed on Lulu. This one is sure to divide opinions due to the plotline. The story kept my interest until the end and like other stories by this author, such as Black Roses, had me thinking about actions and consequences throughout life. Highly recommend.
