It is good to take the hurt we feel out of the darkness and shed some light on our innermost fears.
Cancer is such a powerful and scary word that we never really know how to cope when it arrives, usually without knowing it is on its way.

Having recently become a fan of Julie's work, I thought I might review what I have read so far. I find her writing easy to read, and books not long winded to keep up. Her writing comes straight from the heart and so far as to say she is a wonderful kind and generous person you can see this through the words that she uses.. This story in particular is so sad and pours out the anguish that children feel when having to face the prospect of losing a parent. Raw power and great writing.
"Sad story! " What a sad story! I just wanted to give that poor child a hug.. Amazing writing, it took me through the pains that little child went through. It would help any child reading that, to learn that you do get over the death of a parent or loved one. So sad, and even worse its a true story!
