When Kiviuq Orion applied for a job giving intelligence
tests to a sample of every life-form in the universe, he
never thought he would come across any so ill-informed
and ignorant as those he found on the planet Earth.
And when Oberon Furrow, the unsuspecting human that
Kiviuq tested first, answered innocently that the universe
had only three dimensions, he never suspected that any
ten-dimensional aliens could take offence. Thankfully the
alien in question is far from hostile, and is willing to
demonstrate to Oberon the true vastness of the cosmos,
in return for an insight into that curious concept of the
perception of 'time'.
Meanwhile, the foundations of human society are falling
apart, but it won't take much to convince them that it's
time to give everything a thorough rethink, surely? It
would merely be necessary to introduce them to Zirth...
