"Writing in journals isn't really my thing. I find it sort of juvenile. But I need to talk about what happened yesterday and none of my friends want to talk about it."
These are the first writings of Tracey's journal. One day, while shopping, she witnesses a traumatising event that haunts her for days. Then, all hell breaks loose. With the help of her friends, Tracey must escape her own hometown, Moncton, which has been overthrown by a mysterious illness that makes the dead walk. While escaping, she has vows to chronicle the events in her journal.

Wow! A short but action-packed read! I really enjoyed the novel - the characters are easy to identify with and you really feel for them. Looking forward to more novels from this talented young author!
As soon as I opened the book and read the first few lines, I knew I wasn't going to be able to set it back down until I had read from cover to cover. I highly recommend this book!
This story captured my attention and really brought me to the characters plight. Everytime I read a new chapter I really believed that this was a journal found by someone. Very great read!
