A fateful accident strands unpublished author Johnnie Lappdog in two overlapping dimensions. In one, he is grateful to be alive; in the other, he suffers from Locked-In Syndrome, or coma with consciousness. Known as Nanoman, the comatose Johnnie becomes the star of a reality TV show where his organs are harvested for needy recipients. Meanwhile, his grateful counterpart suffers each time the ailing twin donates his body assets. Discovering the cause of his affliction, Johnnie must prevent the final episode of the show from taking place, or Nanoman will be legally euthanized, killing them both!

"Cheeky Dimension" I picked up this book and didn't put it down until I had read the last page. Well written with edgy humor and a storyline that keeps you guessing. Mr. Ready's pen is firmly in cheek (cheeky?). I hope to read more about Johnnie Lappdog's adventures in a subsequent book. In fact, I hope to read more K.D. Ready! I just ordered another copy to give to a friend. Add this book to your cart!
"I read it!" This book is delightful reminiscent of a Douglas Adams work. The reader is taken on trip through the galaxy of K.D.'s Cheeky dimensions. Okay, I don't read fiction much. I'm a non-fiction type of guy but this book was a gift. And this book had hook. Only because of that hook, I kept picking it up -- over and over again -- until I discovered the ultimate conclusions in the dimensions that we refer to as real.
"A Fun Read" Great writing style and a grabbing story, this novelette kept me interested till the end. It's loaded with humorous details that complement it all. Amusing with a pretty bent social critique.
"The Cheeky Dimension by K D Ready" Cheer up - things can always get worse. Politics and science fiction merge in this dark comedy that had me on the edge of my seat. Think it’s hard to communicate? Put yourself in Nanoman’s shoes. Nanoman aka Johnny Lapdog is trapped in a parallel reality where red means yes and green means no - and his life hangs in the balance. Sure to be a cult classic, The Cheeky Dimension is a revealing look at life in the not-so-fast lane. I can’t wait to see the movie.
