If you'd like to create web-based applications easily, then this book is for you. More importantly, it shows you how to do that with joy and feel good about your own work! You don't need to know servlet or JSP while your productivity will be much higher than using servlet or JSP directly. This is possible because we're going to use a library called "Tapestry" that makes complicated stuff simple and elegant.

"Excellent coverage on Tapestry" I have just started using Tapestry and find this book very useful. Very well written tutorial with examples, diagrams, screen shots etc. The author also describes alternate approaches to a given problem. Recommend this book for anyone who wants to learn Tapestry web framework.
"amatuerish production, but good heart and tech" If you don't mind the sloppy grammer and low-quality screenshots, and you can concentrate on good technical content and upbeat encouraging writing, then this book is for you. If this book was professionally editted, then it would be much better.
