"The Xeno Project & Xeno Stars shallow promises" Truck Driver from California, I visited a friend while I was in Carmel California and she told me to read The Xeno Project & Xeno Stars, shallow promises, and loaned me the book. I was impressed with the forecasts made in the Xeno Project and the story was exciting, terrifying, and moving. Mia is a hybrid Xeno Product half baboon and half human. I would say that this story equals the best horror writers of our Century. The second story Xeno Stars explains how society will change in the Xeno Age, stories about critical decisions having to be decided by parents, children, and people that need a Xenotransplants. Compiled facts and tales of the world the way it will be once the people of the world learn that they can live longer, decades longer with Xeno therapies and increased eyesight, more endurance, and a stronger immune system. What caught my attention were the imminent side effects that will occur because of our want... More > to live longer, mutations and great suffering for those who undergo some of these Xeno procedures. Super-beings that cause havoc on our world and in our future generations of children. Two great stories that will scare the beeswax out of you, filled with great adventure and fun. I would say without a doubt that Cal Black is a master storyteller. If I could give these stories ten stars I would because I love to read books that make me see things that I never knew could happen and I like to read scary books that give me a nightmare or two. I cannot get Mia out of my mind; she is one cold-blooded creature of the night that I would not like to meet in an alley. If you are one of those people that claim that there is not a book that will give you a nightmare then read The Xeno Project & Xeno Stars. I am sure that after the first nightmare you will have a change of heart. I will buy and read each book from this series as they are released to the Public. I am surprised that any writer would stand up to the plate and explain that Xenotransplanting is not all good, that it can be fatal to the human species. It’s about time somebody told the other side of the story about Xenotransplanting. Is Xenotransplanting a cure or a means to the end of our world? Only time will tell. Back on the road again, Jake S.< Less
