What is the point being young and single if you can’t live an adventurous life? After a disastrous outing with two football players from the Ottawa Riverdoggs, Robin vows to never have anything to do with a football player ever again. She has a few dates with James, a man who somehow mysteriously knows her bitchy co-worker Judy. Between conflicts with Judy and her constant shopping problem, Robin takes a 42-hour road trip with her friend Sarah, only adding to her money troubles. The two of them seem to always get into hilarious situations and begin to see how the world really works. When Robin arrives home, the mystery is revealed as to who James really is. Will she stay with him? Or has she had enough of the lies and move on? Robin slowly realizes that the world really is hers to discover.
"Great Book" I really enjoyed reading this book "Yours To Discover" By Karen Michelle Sarnecki. I laughed lots and I cried reading this book. My favorite part in this book is what Robin thought and could discover. By me reading this book made me think of my self of what I could discover. This is a awesome book and thank you lulu for selling this book.
"Hilarious! " This book is a great, fun read. Robin and Sarah's misadventures are classic funny stories about the crazy situations two girls on a road-trip can get into!
"Yours To Discover!" Man this book is amazing! One of the funniest books i have ever read! I seem to relate alot to the book. What a great new Author. I look forward to more books to come!
"A Laugh Out Loud Read" I really enjoyed this book! Truly, there were several parts where I laughed out loud! I found that I couldn't put it down - I wanted to find out how James knew Bitchy Judy, if Matt would try to contact Robin again, etc. I loved it! It's a great tale of a carefree Canadian girl and the drama that finds her. (Some of which I could relate to!) This is a great effort for a new author. The book would be even better with a little more attention to some of the details - spelling & grammar, for one. (I stumbled a few times...) Never understood going all the way from Ottawa to Seattle (??) for a shopping spree though...? Didn't really make sense, even for two fun-loving young women. Also, the book could use some additional work on character development. What did Olivia, Bitchy Judy, Matt, etc. look like? Why did Robin and Bitchy Judy not get along? Just a little more character background would have been great. (Just trying to give some constructive... More > feedback here...!) Despite this, I really did enjoy this book. I can't wait to read Ms. Sarnecki's next one! YOU GO GIRL!!< Less
