Sett i gang I consists of 15 chapters organized
around five main themes. The textbook is 229
pages and suitable for the first semester of a
university course or during the first year of a
community education class.
"Sett i Gang" Sett i Gang (Let’s Get Started!) is a much awaited textbook for students at the beginning level of Norwegian that can be used in the classroom as well as for independent study. The thematic units are designed to focus students on practical Norwegian. The text offers a firm foundation of grammar as well. The exercises are fun and communicative. I especially enjoy the on-line audio materials that allow students to listen there or download them. This visually attractive text is infused with culture and authentic material. My students are very cost conscious and the textbook package is a real bargain. Sett i gang is easy to use and cuts back on the amount of extra work required of the teacher.
