Interesting good read. I can identify with most of this work. Our family spent the last couple of years of the war in Bavaria and at the end of the war moved to the DP camp at the air base in Memmingerberg for about three years (before Karl got there) and from there to Augsburg for a couple of years before leaving for the USA. Brought back many childhood memories.
