"Review" The Bee Well Cookbook by Katie Whitmarsh is the kind of cookbook that I have been waiting for, for a long time. She brings together a vast and comprehensive set of recipes designed for every level and type of food allergy or digestive issue. I have struggled with candida, food sensitivities, allergies and sluggish digestion for over twenty years so this cookbook is a godsend. The recipes are simple and easy to prepare and have helped me overcome my resistance to cooking. Katie’s book takes the guesswork out of trying to adapt regular recipes to fit my particular food challenges. It is a relief to no longer have to guess in trying to adapt regular recipes with allergy free ingredients, which can turn out to be less tasty than I would have liked. So, to any of you who have wanted a cookbook that does it all for you and provides tasty and allergy free options you are in for treat with the Bee Well Cookbook. Shondeya Betari Bend, OR
"Great Cookbook" This is a great cookbook! Fun to use, easy, delicious and nutritious recipes that have helped me overcome my resistance to cooking in new ways, inspiring commitment to myself for a more nutritious and healthy diet that supports my very sensitive digestive and nervous systems. There’s a resource index for hard to find ingredients that’s extremely helpful. And there are great recipes for treats without sugar that keep me from feeling deprived. Soaking grains? At first I didn’t want to do it, but it’s actually easy. I was so surprised how easy it is and how delicious, fluffy and digestible it makes the grains.
