Welcome to the third speedbuilding book, “The Moody Method for Machine Shorthand.” As mentioned in the previous books, this method of speedbuilding is not new or unique, but it is the teaching method that has proved to be the most effective in developing the psychomotor skills required in building machine shorthand speed, skill, and accuracy. Students who practice the lessons systematically and follow the directions for speedbuilding will progress faster than “simply” practicing or writing on their machines without goals, directions, and guidance.
