Hiding from the Past

Kacey Jones just wants to make it through his first year of highschool not surrounded by other troubled kids. He is a junior and luckily has some friends but nothing can prepare him for the bombshell that is Marie Smith. The only girl that has left this heartthrob speechless. Kacey does not have time for a love interest. He is hiding from an infamous past that goes back even farther than the infamous Juvenile Facility that he had practically ruled and got shut down for illegal activities of wardens towards the delinquents. On top of all this he also has an even bigger responsibility. A green-eyed, blonde haired, incredibly smart two year old that is more like Kacey than Kacey cares to admit. Kacey is from a dysfunctional family to say the least and all he wants is his son to keep his innocence longer than Kacey did. Can he do that with a past like his? Can he even function in normal society and let himself be happy for once before it's too late?
