Another wonderful book by Keith Watts! This time a mystery, which switches from punk London in the seventies to the present time. Wonderful attention to detail bringing the plot to life. A must buy!

Another great read by Keith Watts. Loved the Olympic references - could relate to them! Good insight into group dynamics, jealousy and secrets!

A thoroughly enjoyable novel! Arguably Mr Watt’s best yet. From the Summer of 1979 {The Jam, Old Grey Whistle Test, punk hitting the mainstream, Led Zep at Knebworth, Seb Coe breaking World records etc.} with teenagers Gabe, Darren, Andy, Linda, Karen and supporting cast, to Summer 2012 with the consequences and secrets echoing down from a disappearance 33 years earlier. By the time Gabe and Darren have hit 50, their somewhat habitual and tenuous friendship comes under even more strain as the tale and mystery unravels towards its climax. A nostalgic trip, poignant in parts, the typical tensions and jealousies of male friendships as the novel slips backwards and forwards across the years. Great original story, a good idea for a Christmas present. Recommended.
