Exxon Valdez 18 Years And Counting is a legal explanation of the case and a resource for the public to better understand the attitude Exxon maintains towards people and the environment. Kellie Kvasnikoff wrote Exxon Valdez 18 Years And Counting to help others understand the pain, loss, offensiveness, and nauseating effects this legal case has brought the plaintiff’s of the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill and to give a view from a Native perspective of the loss to his native culture. When a company becomes so big that they can flaunt the laws, buy science, manufacture evidence, and manipulate expert witness testimony, and when fines and litigation are not a deterrent to bad business practices, then governments can't protect its people. "The firm basis of government is justice, not pity." -Woodrow Wilson "The health of the people is really the foundation upon which all their happiness and all their powers as a state depend." -Benjamin Disraeli

"Exxon 18 years and counting." Exxon Valdez 18 years and counting. If you buy Exxon gas, please buy this book. I will bet that you won't ever buy Exxon again. I was with this young man in spirit when he knelt on the shore of what had been his life and threw up his guts. The tears and heart break that Exxon has brought to a whole State, which buy the way is part of "We the People", is not only obscene but pornographic. They say that obscenity is in the eyes of the beholder and this is obscene people. How in God's precious name can this monolith do this to these people that we call our neighbor's? It's not that they don't have the money to clean up the horrible mess that their drunk captain made. It's not that they don't have the money to give each and ever plaintiff what they are asking for and deserve. No, they have the money but more than that they have their own GREED. I will never know how these men in their three piece suits, driving their fancy cars with... More > the politicians in their pockets can sleep at night. I couldn't. Please, don't buy Exxon.
