When the author of this book was a Baptist she used to have problems with the Lutheran understanding of Baptism and Infant Baptism. However, after she examined what Holy Scripture teaches about the nature of Baptism and why we sinners need it, she came to understand that the Lutheran view of Baptism and Infant Baptism is in harmony with Scripture and the practice of the early Christian Church. This book is written in a question and answer format. The book is thorough and has theological depth, and yet is easy to read and can be understood by any layperson. I ordered several copies for members of my congreation and plan to order more! I highly recommend this book!
