Here’s an excerpt from my book:
This is what I think about, every night in bed
This is what I’m thinking, what’s going through my head. This is where it’s written, written down in rhymes. Written through the course of weeks, at many bad times. You may read it if you wish, But prepare for what it holds It’s not an easy read, as my mind unfolds. It may not seem like me, but its how I think and feel. It may seem slightly scary but everything is real. I write it down exactly, as seen or thought in my head. All those thoughts or feelings or times I wish I were dead. It’s nice to get it out, to write it in my book To get it out of my head, No matter how long it took. It hurts so much to keep it Bottled up inside. And writing is much safer, then cutting, ‘case I died. But looking back and reading ‘bout all that I’ve been through, Has its ups and downs, cause it kinda scares me too. Was it really “I” that wrote? Or something else in me?
For I cannot recall or I just choose not to see.
