"How Father Won the War, By Kennith H Cardwell." The recording of his experiences in becoming a fighter pilot in the U.S Army Airforce is full of great discriptive narrative which enables one to almost live through the same period, particularly if one has been to some to the these far flung places, in the Pacific theatre. He survived by pure endurance and a lot of luck. A very good read and very well written and composed. Lots of great anecdotes and an appreciation of the massive influence of a vast bureaucracy in the form of the Army Airforce top brass and the like. He stayed out of trouble, some of time, and at others showed dynamic innitiative. Often very funny. -A good piece of work. -Pity it is restricted to just 170 pages. It could have stretched to a novel, easily. Congratulations, well done and thanks for the opportunity.
