Obedient in All Things - Neh. 8 View of 1 Cor.

ByKenneth L. Anderson

HARDBOUND. First Corinthians is written to "know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things" (II Cor. 2:9). A Nehemiah 8 view means that currently ignored commands to the Church will be cherished once again, as happened with Israel coming out of captivity. Israel had not observed since Joshua the Lev 23:42-43 command to dwell in booths in the feast of the 7th month. "Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples; and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come" (I Cor 10:11), as the Church today has likewise ceased to obey numerous "commandments of the Lord" in I Corinthians. The reader is cordially invited scripturally to re-examine application of I Corinthians’ instructions to the Body of Christ in the 21st century in context of an unbiased study on the relevance and scope of the Law. - PLUS - Genetics vs. Evolution based on the author’s coursework in Cellular Biology, Organic Evolution, Molecular Biology, and Geology.
