Dark Horizons The North Star Project

Amnesiac Lt. Colonel Jack Richards is surreptiously taken out of the hospital after the crash of his B-2 bomber. Landing in Area 51, he learns the true capabilities of the craft he ejected from. Forced to trade places with his abducted daughter, Richards learns that foreign agents have somehow obtained computer files of the IM-1 Space to Ground Missile he developed. The agents coerce Jack into giving them data on the new IM-2. While deveolping the IM-3, Jack is assigned to work with a beautiful young scientist (who seems to have stepped out of one of his many visions since the crash). An affair ensues as Jack continues to develop the IM-3 missile as well as flying spy missions in the "Beyond Top Secret" RS-12 North Star.
