Of Eternal Light

An infant child is taken away from the Gycron city hospital on the island of Keyevitch, a strange man heads to the forbidden barrier at the edge of the world, and a detective is murdered within the walls of a local research corp. These are some of the mysteries that Chief Detective Exi and her partner Junior Detective Shorix from the Savuras Security Corp are asked to investigate. In the process of seeking answers they discover strange ancient people known as the Shadow-Keepers, the intractable condition known as the Third Child Syndrome which prevents couples from having more than two children, and the conspiracy of the builders who have profited from using substandard building materials while they disregard the damage and death caused by their disintegrating structures. In the pursuit of answers to the causes of these injustices and their perpetrators, Exi and Shorix discover the truth about the world they live in and the role they each must play to keep it from being exploited to the point of extinction.
