"EH !" Not since Kevin Cornell's Ambidextrous, Collection I has an illustrated collective been so hotly anticipated (in my house). Mojo the Sock Monkey ‘The Story of Eh’ is everything I was hoping for and just that bit more that every loyal Cornell reader has come to expect. Kevin’s artistic talents seem to know no bounds yet it is the seemingly simple stories of Mojo that capture the heart of even the bitterest of cold cold bastard. Visitors to Kevin’s website – www.bearskinrug.co.uk will be well acquainted with Mojo and his many exploits. Never has the monosyllabic been so beautifully expressive. With a single ‘eh’. Mojo speaks volumes. So much so that after reading a handful of the collected stories, I defy any reader not to replace their normally verbose rantings on the inadequacies of modern living with a single yet empowering ‘eh’. From the first story of Mojo quitting his job with magnificent aplomb to the final tableau, each episode is sure to induce violent... "Ehhhhh.... Rockin' my World." The Story of Eh arrived today and after reading some of the ongoing adventures of Mojo over at Bearskin Rug I was totally looking forward to checkin' out the Story of Eh! So cool, so much fun - an hilarious comic with beautifully paced strips which had me chuckling all the way to the last page. I'm lovin' Mojo and Kevin, you've got yourself a fan for life. I love the way Mojo runs with his arms hanging down his side. Pure geek. Great touch.

"really great" I'm not really a fan of sock monkeys, but I can't help but love the character he created. I read the whole book in one sitting, and was impressed the way the comics stand well on their own but flow together as an entire story. In fact, the next time I see a real sock monkey I will maybe smile instead of grimacing at it. That's a real testiment to kevins work. And I'd also give this review 5 stars...if the star meter even showed up for me.

"Mojo strikes gold!" Not since Tony Millionaire has a sock monkey kept me so captivated to his ongoing tomfoolery. Drunken Crow has been replaced by a very capable "Lewis" though he's suspiciously addicted to bananas and extremely anal. Anyway, this is a terrific book by a very talented young fellow. I'm sure more Mojo books will follow so get the first edition while they last!
Refreshing...
