The action unfolds in a shelter house in a park adjacent to a suburban cul-de-sac in Hutchinson Kansas. It is a lovely new neighborhood with one big problem. Among the new, upscale houses is parked a blue and red double-wide trailer (with skirting). It seems this great new neighborhood has sprung up around this unsightly dwelling with old cars, boats and lawn flamingos and it’s going to take everything two families can muster to convince the third family to move away. The show is appropriate for community theater and high schools and uses a simple set and minimal costumes. The cast is flexible and you know where to shop for props!
Hilarious look at stereotyping, perceptions, friendships, rivalries, adverse situations, family "dirt" and financial status. Would love to see students perform this play in my town. Good Job Kevin Honeycutt!
"Superb!" Kevin Honeycutt did it again! This play is another homerun for Honeycutt. Not only is "Three Family Sale" highly entertaining for audiences, it also offers the actors and actresses who perform it an opportunity to showcase their talents. If you are looking for a fun play to perform for your school or community theater, then you really must check out "Three Family Sale!"
"Amazing play" this was an amazing play that was about societal classes, and it touched on many more of our modern day issues. for example.. small trailer vs. huge brick mansion... or teen daughter from a nice wealthy family falling in love with so called "white trash". Also things like neigbor rivalry and family issues. this was a great play and i would recommend it to everyone! April E
"*** A Play The Audience Can Relate To ***" I've seen this play performed and crowds seem to really love it. It was very well written with the audience in mind in such a manner that they can relate to. You will not be disappointed with the purchase of this Script! I look forward to seeing more plays published by Kevin Honeycutt. I rate it: 5 of 5
