An artist takes us on a tour through the rooms of his house where he claims The Belle of Amherst visited. On the journey, he shares the secrets of a "love affair" with his poetic muse. Another brilliant-color highly visual tale from Kevin Slattery's "Picture Books for BIG kids" series.

"Emily comes to my house"—like "Ain't gonna hang no pixel"—will be read from front cover to back. Because that's just what we do. You'll then find yourself viewing each page in reverse order—stopping to exam each image and reading the bits of copy you may have missed in your first go-through. When you come upon the story of the artist's love affair with his muse, you may find yourself heading in either direction—to the images of Summer, Fall and Winter or back to those of Spring. The details of the art and the stories will become more connected with each pass—this book is meant to be a whole-book experience.
