Sounds for Cooper and Handley, the Helping Hand are two stories that teach children the benefits of helping one another through strengths and weaknesses. Although Cooper is deaf and cannot hear the sounds of the crowd cheering for him during a baseball game, his new friend who happens to be blind, gives him the sound of a crowd cheering through Pop Rocks. Cooper returns the favor to his new friend, Lexi, by showing her the color of the tiger uniforms when he gives Lexi a piece of grape gum. She then begins to understand the color purple.
