This is the complete score and parts for a piece for five B-flat trumpets, with double bass and percussion (drumset). It has been described by performers as having “Miles Davis meets Sibelius” flavor to it. It is a crossover classical/jazz piece but has no improvisation in it except for the double bass and percussion, who play the notated parts freely. It is about 13 minutes in duration and is an intermediate-advanced level piece. It was recorded by the GVSU trumpet ensemble and Rich Stoelzel on the CD "Spirit of the Place."
This bound copy is meant as a "library" copy; owners may photocopy parts and score for personal and educational use as needed.
