A Review of The Life Of A Cashier: The Good, The Bad, And The Stupid by M. C. Mrs. Benoit’s writing style is down to earth and straightforward. I enjoyed the scenarios as she experienced them and now I dread certain people’s behaviors while waiting to check out if the self check out is not an option. I feel much more empathy for those behind the drawers and I try to do as much of the heavy lifting and organizing for the convenience of all thanks to her insight into something most of us probably dislike in the process of shopping. I like how she points out that many shoppers make assumptions and have expectations that cashiers not only check the stuff out but know everything when that is not their duty. I also like observation how certain customers mistreat the cashiers as though they are not human. I hope that if you read her book you take away that no matter our position in life… no person is more or less human just because they are trying to survive this American life.

I read the first 11 pages of your book that I was allowed, what I read was very accurate and straight to the point. I enjoyed what I read so far so I will buy the book this weekend coming so I can finish reading it.
