Back to the Rat by Larry Rochelle
Tennis pro Palmer Morel needs help and his tennis club friend, Debra Darby, tells him to relax. What he needs is a change of scene.
Darby urges Morel to get therapy for his depression at “The Body Shop” in Carrboro and promises he will just love the creative way the therapists move from patient to patient, getting them to dance, write in their journals and sketch free hand impressions of life.
Morel is unsure about this unorthodox approach but shows up one day at “The Body Shop” and is hooked. One therapist in particular appeals to him, and soon he and the petite blond Pris Price become friends.
