This is one of the most honest and revealing descriptions of prison life I've ever read. It is the daily diary of a man imprisoned for over 7 years. It shows what is the REAL imprisonment - the lose of freedoms such as being told what to do each moment. The inability to have an ice cream bar, to fear for your life in the shower, to be treated as lower than rabid curs. But, it can also be a chance to grow and mature. Larry said, "The bad people can get better - and the good people can get worse!" This should be required reading for all students - especially those who are prone to get in trouble with society and the law. It will totally change your perception of what is restrained life in the legal prison system. Dennis Hooker
