The Demon of Mallow was first described by the mageborn Cyrus Garroway of Caer Tamnagh (one of the few to escape alive after a confrontation with the creature) as being a ravenous beast twice the height of a man, with grey-green skin not unlike that of a Mallowen Stink Toad.
Or so the stories said. So when Fenelon Greenfyn takes up the challenge to destroy the beast, naturally, he invites his old friend and former apprentice Alaric Braidwine along.
But Alaric has problems of his own.. He is Demon-Bound and for some reason, he is going through a strange transformation over which he seems to have no control.
Before Alaric can help defeat the Demon of Mallow, he must first learn to deal with the Demon within himself...
