Wow!...What an incredible story. This book is really easy to read. As the description says, "it's a real page turner." I couldn't put this book down! The book is so honest. I find it really interesting that someone can expose themselves to this kind of life style and survive. I love how a real angel visits him changing and turning his life around. The book is full of really interesting little side lines that realy drew me in to the story! I would recommend this book to everyone wanting a great read! Well done!

"Awoken by an Angel a Must Read" by Joanne Buckley This is a wonderful book that took me on a trip through a whole melting pot of experiences and emotions, it is very exciting reading from paragraph to paragraph with every word having impact. What an incredible journey this man has made, this book has taught me a very valuable lesson in hope. I have learned that there is amazing potential in every single person and I no longer look at my own life the same way. I now have a strong heart and love for the people who I once judged for bringing sickness upon themselves through drug and alcohol abuse. I now have a better appreciation of life and a clearer perspective of my place in it. I recommend this book to everyone I believe it is a must read. It took me two nights to read, I couldn’t put it down and I couldn’t wait to find out what happened next! "Dont judge a book by its cover!" This book is very different to other books of a similar type. When one of my work buddies handed me this book and said "You gotta read this!" I thought that I was in for one of those new age hippie type reads. I was pleasently surprised when I got into the first chapter. What a roller coaster!. Awoken by an Angel presents some interesting concepts and challenged alot of my beleif system; especially about homeless people. The author takes you on numerous adventures and at one point see's him eating grasshoppers as he slowly but surely loses his ever dwindling sanity. I think that this is a story of humanity filled with spiritual overtones, combining some very fresh approaches. I was very moved at times by some of the little sub plots in the book that left me wondering how somebody could survive such abuse.
