The Devil is running the New Jersey Division of Motor Vehicles and, when a musician named Reggie gets too close to the truth, all Hell breaks loose. God would like to help, but Universal Law prohibits Him from getting directly involved. But, what God is able to do is pop by Reggie's for lunch and make sure that he meets some people who are not bound by Universal Law. Death, Mother Nature, the archangel Michael, and the comedy duo of Moses and Costello all agree to lend a hand. But will they have the strength to stand against the Devil himself? Action packed and full of humor, this is the story of Mankind facing its greatest challenges: War, terrorism, famine, and the price of gasoline (with just a bit of help from the Almighty).

"Couldn't put it down!!!! " I enjoyed this book from beginning to end, couldn't put it down. The characters were captivating and enlightning they stole my heart. I just wanted to jump inside the book and be part of it. This book left me wanting more like any good book should. Religion and beliefs were explained in a beautiful way and is actually what i believe to be true. I'm an avid reader, and am always looking for a good read. I look forward to reading more books by this author.

"I love the Rabbi!" This book reads well, and the story moves along like a freight train, picking up energy until it reaches an unbelievably well written climax. The tension between Reggie and the Devil is top notch. What confused me was that even though God has a part in the book, that it is the Rabbi that seems to keep showing up when Reggie needs him. I loved that character. I wish he was in more of the scenes. On the whole, this is a fantastic novel, and I highly recommend it. The only drawback is that the author can sometimes take the Lord's name in vain. I didn't care for that.
