Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Citizens Fish is a book created by a group of 11th grade students in San Diego, California that wanted to show that everyone has an obligation to learn about, understand and respect world around them. That knowledge and respect starts with learning about issues both locally and globally and culminates in acting as citizens of the world. In the book you will see that a fishery is a complex industry made up of interesting people, policies, places and populations. With the help of the nonprofit SurfAid International and many individuals in the fishing industry, the students use research and interviews to outline how local California ecology and fishing practices relate to and effect fisheries all around the world.
