An absolutely incredible collection of Leslie Parke's recent works and vivid descriptions of how her style has developed. As someone who has followed her career for many years, I learned something new about how she does what she does. No surprise - the book is exactly like her paintings - the more you look at it, the more it changes and grows. One would think her art is alive! Phenomenal book! I highly recommend it; there isn't another artist who is comparable.
This brief compilation of Ms. Parke's work is a wonderful presentation of what "makes her tick". Hers is truly a gifted soul; bringing her view of the world to life. The essay and interview help weave Ms. Parke's art into words. Both pieces provide a truly personal, and aesthetic insight to her work.
