Begin the Beguine

ByLi-Chi Young

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Eleanor Addison lived for one thing only: playing the piano. A genius pianist, she was always absolutely consumed by that singular passion, until one day, for the first time, something else captivated her: a local jazz singer, Cheryl Davenport. "If I can't play piano, what the hell am I supposed to do!?” Now Eleanor feels as if she's lost control. She's plagued with feelings doesn't understand, feelings she's never had before, feelings she utterly loathes. Cheryl, on the other hand, begins to find herself enchanted with Eleanor Addison, the Prodigy Pianist. By chance, the two become bound to each other via social debts and obligations, but friendship develops nonetheless, and despite resistance, perhaps a closer bond.
