ByLillian Escobar-HaskinsGeorge F. Haskins
This document is a study of the changing face of the AIDS epidemic and issues related to prevention efforts. It focuses on the two segments of the population which represent the fastest growing and most at risk groups within the HIV/AIDS population — African American women and Latinas. These two groups represent a disproportionately high percentage of the AIDS cases among women in both the United States and in Pennsylvania. The study was commissioned by The Philadelphia AIDS Coalition.
