This is an educational book for children that is just plain fun. It introduces interesting animals, using kid-size language, and it makes the narrative personal by referring often to how Grandma and Grandpa first encountered these creatures.

Great book to read out loud to young ones or for young readers to read on thier own. The pictures add nice visual interest to the vivid descriptions of the animals.

Cute book! Simple, easy to read and informational. Uncommon points about the animals such as the black fur line from the cheetah's eye to his mouth. Names for animals give a personal touch.
