Death at the Doorstep was a wonderful page turner, filled with interesting characters, a quick moving plot, and fun references to Ann Arbor. I hope there will be another Karen Niemi novel soon!

Great novel from new mystery writer (but long time professional writer) Linda Fitzgerald. Page turner! And filled with authentic Ann Arbor small college town background giving entertaining richness to the story. Beginning of a series, I hope.

I very much enjoyed "Death at the Doorstep" and look forward to more books with Karin as the main character! I loved the neighbors who would not leave her alone but ultimately were very thoughtful. Each of the characters is well developed and interesting. The overall cast of characters I suspect could be found in most college towns, the descriptions of them really make them come to life. It did keep you thinking about how it would all be wrapped up, I did suffer from not being able to put it down and so reading late into the night to finish it!

Generally, I'm not a fan of mysteries. But this one kept me turning pages (and staying up far too late)! The dialogue was quick and sharp, the character development thoughtful. And, being an Ann Arborite, I loved the setting and the many references to city landmarks. Brava!
