There's something different about the light in Africa. Perhaps it's nothing more than how the dust of the desert diffuses the heat of the sun, but I am drawn to the glow. Light has the power to transform everything it touches. It has the power to dry a flood, melt the snow, make things grow, bring life or death, and illuminate the world we live in. Light drives away the darkness.
This book is a glimpse into my experiences traveling to Namibia, Africa in 2004 and 2006. There are many needs among the people of Africa, food, water, medicine, shelter, love and hope. It is my prayer that you will be inspired to reach out a hand to those in need, around the world or right next door.
