How do you decide what you want to be when you grow up?
A child's idea of what he or she wants to be when they grow up will
probably change several times over the years.
To give them ideas for their future dreams I have used a variety of
Animals and careers in my book "What I Want To Be When I Grow Up," with
poems and illustrations.
All the animals in their careers actually have traits that fits them in a
particular line of work. To name a few, a Dalmatian is a Fire Fighter, an Owl
is a Librarian, a Mosquito is a Nurse.
Children can begin to discover what they want to do with the rest of their
life, not what someone else think they should do. This book will give them
ideas to grow on.
