Juxtaposed to other supernatural comics and graphic novels , Night Light's awe-inspiring artwork and iconoclastic storyline break the criteria of your typical plot and puts itself in a category of it's own.Including characters which you grow attached to as their story and journey unfolds. NightLight is a definitely recommend read for those seeking supernatural thrill. So step out of the black and white world of quintessential supernatural thrills and step into the epinephrine rush of Night Light.

I'm going to write a review for this as someone that does not read many comics (cause sadly I do not)... That being said NIGHT LIGHT WAS SO GOOD! Its story grabs you, the protagonist is a strong, badass female (woot woot) and it has comedic and emotional elements. Cannot wait to see what awaits Hikari and Stick in stories to come! 10/10 would (and will) read again!

I absolutely love this comic!! Night Light has everything one could ever want in a comic; love, loss, death, and zombies!! I love the illustrations in this book, and the detailing that was put into each panel. It's very well written, and it's as if you can actually hear the sound effects in the action scenes, which make it feel all the more real. Night Light is a very edgy book, with a very strong female protagonist. Now, let me talk about the illustrations in depth. As everyone knows, most comics are written plainly in ink. This book however, was painted in watercolor, adding a new depth to the story. The monochromatic color scheme just brings a whole lot more to the table, and is much more captivating to the eye. Moving onto the scenes, and how the frames are put together. Majority of comics have grid-like frames, transitioning from scene to scene.. This one, however, is very different. You can tell that each frame was creatively well thought out, and it really effects ho w the... More > scene unfolds. No frame is uniform, which adds a new taste in how comics are written. The pages and cover are finished in a nice gloss, leaving the comic feeling smooth and rich in your hands. For this price, this comic is totally worth it. I'm very happy with my purchase, and I'm currently waiting for the second one to be released! BUY, READ, COLLECT< Less
