Something About Harry!

ByLoretta Hanson-Wallace

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
This book is a compilation of stories written in celebration of the author's father, E. Harry Hanson. Harry was a popular family icon; a little rough around the edges; occasionally misunderstood but loved. Harry was forced to give up a promising music career and in his late teens he embraced the construction trade. In his life he supervised jobs that included the building of the Friant Dam near Fresno, California, a high-rise apartment building in San Francisco, the Edmondston Pumping Plant near Interstate 5 where it lifts water 1,900 feet over the Tehechapi mountain range, the Keswick Dam near Reddding, Calfornia and the demolition of the historic Yreka Hotel in Yreka, California. The reader is swept away on a journey of inspiration, entertainment and thrills. This is a book in which the reader can truly laugh out loud and sometimes shed a tear. This is the third book by the author, Loretta Hanson-Wallace.
