"The Blood Vessels by Lorraine Robinson" What a wonderful book. Lorraine, you are truly a survivor. It took a lot of courage to reveal the truths in your family history and I truly believe all of your family will be healthier and happier in their future years because of it. Your research and revelations were amazing. To many people leave this earth without leaving any of their family history behind. Not knowing where we came from and why we are like we are is more damaging to our soul than knowing the truths. Your children should be very proud of their Mom for her strength, courage and ambition.

"Blood Vessels" I couldn't put it down! This is a fast paced, almost paraphrased, book which kept me wanting to know more. Robinson's book is filled with stories rich in feeling, experience, suggestion, tragedy, redemption, insight, reflection, and growth. A few things that really stuck with me are: the compounded grief the author dealt with, the incredible insight into family dynamics she developed, her interpretation of her daughter Cheryl's childhood drawings, and her willingness to live with difficult but liberating truths. In the end she shows us all that a personal journey can liberate not only ourselves but leads us in helping others in very real ways. Well done Lorraine Robinson. "The Blood Vessels" This is an extraordinarily frank story about the road through suffering and discovery to a place of content and fulfillment. Robinson tells a story well and lays out all the relevant interactions. I enjoyed the book hugely. I give it three thumbs up.
