Furballs' Fables is a collection of humorous, semi-sequential, short stories, which revolve around the adventures, mishaps and relationships surrounding a varied group of 'pre-loved' toys, 'real' animals and some humans. It is a book which can be enjoyed, not only by children, but those of us who are somewhat beyond the childhood years. Included in the book are some of Louise's illustrations and photographs. The sense of humour is a little silly, but fun and a good read for the kids.
Louise is a Professional Illustrator, Prof. Counsellor (specialized in autism, parenting, child development and youth), qual. Integration Aide and asd therapist (not all at once, of course) and trully loves to put a smile on a childs' face with humorous writings of various kinds.
The text is generally suitable for emerging and established independent readers. Younger ones can have the stories read to them in an exhuberant and silly manner, for a fun and entertaining experience.
