The lives of three people are powerfully examined as they grapple individually and collectively with matters of life, death, choice and children. Each opportunity to embrace life is met with different temptations, fears and reactions. Though fictionalized, each story comes from the first and second hand experiences of a family physician that has faced, with her patients and family, the realities of both birth and abortion, regret and redemption. She therefore lends an informed voice to the baby and the abortionist, the fearful and the faithful. Her faith is informed by her training and her knowledge is creatively presented in an emotional, but critical story that must be told.
