This book is perfect for anyone looking for work - whether from being unemployed, or looking for promotion or a new direction. It focuses on the most important part of the process, often completely missed out in similar books - identifying strengths and skills and looking creatively at what doors they might open. The author is an expert from both sides - she has had to put all of these techniques into practice herself when she was personally left floundering and wondering what to do next, and she is also a professional career coach with experience of helping many people find the right career path for them. This book isn't a book - it's a professional guide taking you by the hand through each stage in the process. It's packed full of exercises from identifying who you are and what you want, through to building a CV that will sell the real you in the best possible light, and you can pick and choose which parts will specifically help you. I run a job board for disabled job seekers, and I... More > will thoroughly recommend this book to all of our candidates. It is by far the best I have ever seen on this subject.< Less
