Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
The author was born in Bristol, UK in 1960. She has two sons who were diagnosed autistic at an early age. She was diagnosed as having Asperger's Syndrome herself in 2001. In this book she attempts to explain her experiences as a carer and someone who has an autistic spectrum condition. Her aim is to help others think better of autistic people, to consider the way they are taught to belong to the world, and to suggest some possible solutions to problems facing them. Endorsement: "As a teacher of ICT in a Specialist College for the past seven years, I would recommend this book not only to fellow teachers but to parents or carers who come into contact with people who live with Autistic Spectrum Disorders(ASD)."
